PLA or PETG — which one for your order?
Both are available across our lamp range. Here's the plain version of what's different.
PLA — Standard
Plant-derived thermoplastic. Clean matte finish, consistent surface quality, lighter weight. Right choice for table lamps and most retail, gifting, and hotel room applications where ambient temperature is normal.
PETG — Heat-Tolerant
Better thermal resistance than PLA — handles sustained heat from continuous bulb use without deforming. Available for ceiling and pendant lamps in applications with higher ambient heat or wattage.

PLA is standard — clean matte finish, lighter weight, right for most applications with normal ambient temperature. PETG offers better heat tolerance, recommended for ceiling/pendant applications with higher wattage or ambient heat. Tell us your installation context and we'll advise which is right for your order.
